Alan Slater
Alan has spent most of his career in manufacturing industry. He led production operations for several companies before becoming Group Operations Director for a multinational with responsibility for factories in UK, Europe and USA and 800 staff. His early leadership experience was in the sporting world, including coaching at Cambridge University. He is an associate lean practitioner with The Manufacturing Institute and MAS, The Manufacturing Advisory Service and an associate member of The Association for Coaching. Alan has a PhD in polymer science and is also a qualified corporate and executive coach.
Martin Chisholm
Martin's career has spanned the length of the supply chain, starting with a supplier to the Petrochem industry, then to a manufacturer of Manual Handling Equipment, followed by a Fast Moving Consumer Goods supplier, an internet fulfillment centre and finally working out solutions to solve the last 50-metre conundrum for retailers (how to get if from the back door to the sales floor!)
He successfully completed the prestigious Fellowship in Manufacturing Management programme at Cranfield University in 1999 and is now working with a number of Manufacturing Advisory Service providers including North West, Yorkshire & Humber and the North East. He is also a Director and council secretary for the Association of Manufacturing Managers.
Chris Parrack
Chris brings a wealth of industry experience both in the UK and US, mainly in the engineering, food, FMCG, pharmaceutical and chemical sectors. During an extensive corporate career positions held include general manager, production director, technical director and divisional purchasing manager. He has extensive experience of lean principles and techniques, operations management, strategic and tactical supply chain and procurement. He has been a consultant for three years and is also a nationally accredited advisor and auditor of the Diversity Assured programme from the 'Committed 2 Equality' (c2e) organisation.
Steve Greenup
Steve has spent over 25 years in corporate life, 15 years with a $4bn Global Hi-Tech Corporation and 10 years with the UK's largest independent telecommunications
company. His knowledge and experience span Customer Service, Sales and various Management and Leadership positions, together with over 5 years of self-employment. His business experience has been gained across market sectors from Local Government and Further Education through IT, Telecoms, Engineering, Retail and Finance, specialising in sales training and also providing additional internal resource for help on specific projects, sales campaigns, etc.
Steve is an affiliate member of the CIPD, The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM), a certified practitioner with the International NLP Trainers Association (INLPTA), a Transactional Analysis 101 Certificate holder with the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy, a member of Stockport and Manchester Chamber Of Commerce and the IoD, Institute of Directors, an associate member of the PSA, Professional Speakers Association and a Licensed Associate with Sales Insight.
